GDS Meets SailGP

SailGP is an adrenaline-fueled, nation versus nation, close-to-shore, high-speed,  high-tech racing series like no other. Powered by nature, this global sports championship combines cutting-edge technology, iconic global venues, elite athletes, and F-50 sailboats at record-breaking speeds creating the most exciting competitive racing on water. Founded by Russell Coutts and Larry Ellison (Oracle) in 2018, this league sets out to redefine the future of the sport.

When the opportunity arose GDS was thrilled to collaborate with SailGP on their extensive new Adrenaline Lounge layout with a first-class hospitality experience offering unrivalled access at the heart of the action on the start/finish line.

GDS Engineering MaxiPremium panel & bespoke item system took centre stage with its patented “quick-adjust” foot levelling system and positive pin and camlock configuration. Their supplied over 200 panels ranging from mini 0.9m high room dividers to 2.4m & 2.8m high wall panels, custom roof solutions with spotlights, refreshment station pelmets, executive office hinged doors, feature wooden cladding, vinyl graphics, LED logos, edge skirting and many more customised additions.

GDS Engineering continue to develop and design new concepts and solutions across the whole SailGP series for their sponsors, teams & tech bases, race HQ & communications.
