DIT Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) Funding

DIT and Tradeshow Access Programme Update - June 2021

The Government has announced their Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) is not continuing, with immediate effect. We share and understand the disappointment that will come from this decision. The valuable and vital support TAP provided has, for many years, enabled many MIA members to attend key trade shows overseas and grow their international business.

The Government state that they remain committed to supporting exports and that they understand the important role exports will have in the UK’s economic recovery following COVID. We aim to continue working with our key contacts in central government to better understand what form future support will take for those members wishing to build exports and meet buyers from international markets. We will do all we can to lobby government to reconsider this regrettable decision and fund attendance as exhibitors at relevant sector exhibitions in all our primary markets. We will continually update all members whenever we have further information.
