Funding opportunities and support for MIA Members

To help business growth and support R&D new funding is regularly announced by the UK government. In response we have created a NEW FREE service to help MIA members access these funds and to collaborate with others.

We know that exploring these funding opportunities and going through the application process can be difficult and time consuming but the work can lead to valuable business growth.

UK Funding Structure

Andrew Everett and Titan have very kindly put together a document outlining the structure for government funding bodies in the UK and how they are all linked. This valuable document is available for all MIA members to download by clicking here. It includes a useful overview of competitions, the associated TRL’s, value of funding available and the frequency of the competitions.

To help MIA members further, we have teamed up with Andrew Everett whose extensive knowledge and experience of UK government funding and applications can help identify relevant funds, find partners and submit a well-presented application.

All MIA members can access an initial FREE consultation with Andrew, without commitment. Following this initial consultation and advice, you can work with Andrew to make a funding application, at a reduced rate, exclusively for MIA members.

About Andrew Everett:
		After nineteen years with Ford and Visteon in roles covering engineering research and design, manufacturing strategy and large (multi million pound) project management - Andrew joined Innovate UK. Here he helped design and deliver more than half a billion pounds of R&D support to UK industry using significant input from government and industry. Looking to provide a similar service for the Intelligent Mobility market, Andrew became Chief Strategy Officer at the Transport Systems Catapult for three years and then he set up A + E Ltd to help industry connect and collaborate, providing strategic insight based on his deep understanding and experience of the needs of the UK’s automotive sector.
