MIA Motorsport to Defence Webinar:
Defence Investment Plan – Reflections and Opportunities

Wednesday 14 January 2026
Online webinar via Zoom  |   Time: 11:00-12:00 (GMT)

Exclusively for MIA members, through our Motorsport to Defence (M2D) programme, our Defence Development Director, Nick Wills and M2D Advisor, Stu Olden, will host this one-hour webinar on Wednesday 14 January.

Join Nick and Stu as they unpack the key priorities announced in the Defence Investment Plan, which is expected to include a long-term investment roadmap with a five-year procurement pipeline. This will cover the major procurement funding for equipment and support capabilities to deliver on the areas outlined in the Strategic Defence Review and Defence Industrial Strategy, such as innovation at “wartime pace” (AI, autonomous systems, space, cyber), regional Defence Growth Deals, procurement system reform, and strengthened SME pathways.

They’ll also highlight where new opportunities may arise for MIA members and share practical insights on how to best position for success. Don’t miss this chance to get ahead – sign up to secure your free place

We will also introduce our relaunch of the Motorsport to Aerospace (M2Aero) initiative which will be in place from Spring 2026, where Jenny Kavanagh will support as our M2Aero Advisor.
