SMMT launched Safe Harbour and the scheme is ready to support any UK automotive company impacted by Covid-19 related issues. The UK government has ended furlough and some companies may be experiencing difficulty. Get in touch with SMMT now to explore Safe Harbour options. Early intervention could offer greater benefit.

What is Safe Harbour?

Safe Harbour is an initiative developed by SMMT to specifically support automotive companies impacted by Covid-19 and other related issues:

Component shortages including semiconductors
Raw material shortages
Supply chain issues and challenges

How does Safe Harbour work?

Safe Harbour supports suppliers by providing a framework to bring their key stakeholders and customers together to develop and agree an action plan. That action plan could include a range of measures which ultimately aim to ensure the continuity of business.

Who is eligible?

Any small, medium or large company working in the UK automotive sector.
