Prodrive and Xiaomi make history with Nürburgring record. Again.

Prodrive is proud to announce its continued partnership with Xiaomi has once again delivered a record-breaking result at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype, developed with Prodrive’s engineering support, has lapped the legendary circuit in a blistering 6:22.091 minutes, making it the third-fastest car ever to take on the ‘Green Hell’.

This achievement builds on the record Xiaomi set last October, also with Prodrive’s support. Now, less than a year later, the team has returned to the ‘Ring and gone even faster.

The new lap time places Xiaomi’s SU7 Ultra among the elite, alongside the most celebrated hypercars in Nürburgring history. It’s a powerful statement about the future of EVs. Prodrive’s role in the project highlights its growing influence in high-performance EV development and how blending its accumulated racing expertise and depth of vehicle dynamics knowledge with cutting-edge electric technology can unlock new levels of performance.
