Take a look at our recent Business Development Mission to North Carolina, USA

We have recently returned from hosting our successful Business Development Mission to North Carolina, USA. This overseas activity has proven to be extremely valuable to those who have participated, with many gaining new key contacts with teams and organisations within the US motorsport market and now actively engaged with further business discussions. 

This activity, kindly supported by the Department for Business and Trade, returned to the MIA's event programme in 2023 and 2024, following the 2022 announcement that North Carolina was one of the first States to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on trade and economic cooperation with the UK. 

 

Hosted by our US Directors, this year's scheduled programme provided the opportunity for our motorsport supply chain group to visit and meet with the following US teams and organisations.

  • Team Penske 
  • IndyCar
  • General Motors - The Charlotte Technical Center 
  • Hendrick Motorsports 
  • Joe Gibbs Racing 
  • Multimatic Motorsports
  • RFK Racing 
  • SRI Performance
  • Plus an informal networking reception hosted by Xtrac 

With some guests staying on for the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 race weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
