Account Manager
Purpose of the Role:
To provide a professional service to our client base, offering a consultative approach to sales activities. Delivering a first in class customer experience, helping position Zircotec as the world leading thermal management provider. Working with the sales
and marketing team to deliver against targets and implement activities to grow the selected portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- To answer incoming enquiries across all mediums
- To work with marketing to increase inbound enquiries
- To track conversion ratios and follow best practice to increase where possible
- To develop existing and new customers in cross selling activities and unearth opportunities for additional product saturation.
- To maintain and complete all paperwork related to sales
- To proactively target new opportunities through outbound calling activities
- To support the Finance department in recovering aged debtors
- To ensure all activities are logged on the CRM system
- To act as a role model and lead by example
- To engage with training and development within the specified role and wider company objectives
- To track and report on monthly/YTD performance
- To manage and develop a pipeline of opportunities
- To meet and achieve set targets through products and customer/revenue volumes
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Sales experience
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- IT literate

Senior Mechanical Engineer
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in CFD and Thermal Analysis using Solidworks Flow to work for an advanced thermal management solutions company based
in Abingdon. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return receive a competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000 per annum.
Zircotec specialises in heat management. We are experts in plasma-spray processing, production of high-performance
surface coatings, heat shields and finishes. We apply this knowledge to a broad range of sectors including motorsport, general automotive, nuclear, aerospace, defence, niche vehicles and off-highway. Zircotec is poised for exponential growth within
the next year.
Our product range includes plasma applied ceramic thermal barriers and a broad range of thermal management technologies. This is a rapidly growing company working in F1, automotive, aerospace, low carbon vehicle applications
and emerging technologies to deliver class leading thermal solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Main technical point of contact with internal and external customers on assigned projects.
- Research and development of mechanical and thermal solutions in delivering against these requirements.
- Produce and deliver verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders to ratify design solutions.
- New product R&D supported by our product design team.
- Creation of detailed models and drawings suitable for manufacture and assembly.
- Project Technical Lead.
Necessary Experience:
- Proficient with Solidworks Flow, designing thermal solutions.
- 1D and 3D Thermal Analysis
- Thermal testing and reporting.
Experience:
- Ideally qualified in a subject relevant to the role and/or a track record of experience in a similar role.
- Designing mechanical and thermal solutions using Solidworks.
- Good problem-solving skills coupled with a sound fundamental knowledge of CFD and Finite Element Analysis
- Determined, self-motivated and can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

Roaming Quality Inspector
Are you looking for a hands on role in a fast-paced and growing organisation? We are specialists in heat management, as well as experts in plasma spray processing and the production of high performance surface
coatings and finishes, and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Inspection team.
This role will involve inspecting parts throughout the production chain, ensuring that our internal quality standards are
met. You will work within a team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest possible standard. You will support the Inspection Team Leader with recording reject numbers and internal concerns in order to improve quality standards throughout
the business.
You must have a keen eye for detail, good time management and organisation skills, and the ability to work both alone and in a team. You should also have previous experience within a production environment. An understanding
of ISO and IATF Quality Standards would be an advantage.
This role is permanent and full-time based in our Abingdon factory. The working hours are 07:00 – 16:15 Monday – Thursday (with a 45 minute lunch break) and 07:00 – 12:00 on Fridays.The
salary range for this role is £18,000 – £20,000, depending on skills and experience. The closing date for applications is 12:00 noon on Friday 21 May 2021.

Production Operative – Heat Shielding
Are you looking for a hands on role in a fast-paced and growing organisation? We are specialists in heat management, as well as experts in plasma spray processing and the production of high performance
surface coatings and finishes, and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Heat Shielding department.
The roles will involve the welding of components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies in line with our Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP). You will work within a team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest possible standard, and always right first time. You will be operating equipment, so will need to monitor machine usage, and you will be responsible
for keeping your area clean and organised at all times.
You must have a keen eye for detail, good time management and organisation skills, and the ability to work both alone and in a team. You should also have previous sheet metal fabrication
experience. The ability to read engineering drawings, as well as spot welding experience, would be an advantage.
These roles are permanent and full-time – working hours are 07:00 – 16:15 Monday – Thursday (with a 45 minute lunch break)
and 07:00 – 12:00 on Fridays. The salary range for these roles is £18,000 – £24,000, depending on skills and experience. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
