SMMT: meet the buyer May 2021

Expression of interest is now open

SMMT will be hosting Meet the Buyer digitally on 20 May 2021. 

This year they will be delivering Meet the Buyer in an online format in order to provide the same meeting experience while in-person events are not viable.

Meet the Buyer is an in-demand SMMT event which matches suppliers with OEM and tier one buyers through one-to-one meetings.

A number of exciting buyers are already lined up. They are launching the EOI for both buyers and suppliers to register their interest in taking part. More details will be announced shortly.

The last event took place at Automechanika Birmingham 2019 resulting in:

• Over 50 buyers from 19 buying organisations
• Over 350 participants
• Around 400 expressions of interest
• Almost 400 one-to-one meetings
• Over 800 meeting requests made on the day
• 90% positive or neutral meeting outcomes
