CBI update - Supporting businesses impacted by coronavirus

The CBI has released the following update.

The CBI is striving to ensure that business can access the latest information about coronavirus so they can understand how it may affect their business and make informed decisions.

With the ramifications of COVID-19 (coronavirus) being felt by business’ around the world, from supply chain issues to employee international travel, it is crucial firms have access to the right information.

The UK government has published guidance for employers, explaining how to tackle the following:

  • How to prevent the spread of coronavirus
  • What to do if an employee is suspected of carrying coronavirus
  • Advice for individuals who have travelled to particular areas
  • How staff should respond if they come into contact with someone that has contracted coronavirus.
