As part of doing business, many small businesses collect and share personal data involving their customers, clients and suppliers. If your businesses does this beyond UK borders, to the European Union and European Economic Area, you need to know about changes to how data can be shared after the UK leaves the EU.

Kelly Tolhurst MP, the Government’s Minister for Small Business will be holding a teleconference on 23rd October to discuss with small business owners how they use personal data, the steps that they will need to take to ensure they can comply with the changes once the UK has left and continue to send and receive personal data across the EU/EEA.

This session will discuss how small businesses use personal data, what preparations your business should be making for EU exit and will point you in the right direction for information and materials you can use to get ready for Brexit.

If you are a small business owner and you are unsure, have questions or suggestions about how you share data across the EU and the EEA, please join Kelly Tolhurst on 23 October.
