A Team Effort Achieving ISO 14001 certification has been a true team effort – and one that reflects the collective commitment, collaboration, and hard work of everyone at Prototal UK. From the very beginning of this journey, every department played a crucial role. Prototal's operations and production teams worked diligently to review and refine day-to-day practices, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, conserve energy, and improve environmental efficiencies across the board. Meanwhile, their quality and compliance teams developed robust systems to track progress, ensure legal compliance, and maintain full transparency throughout the audit process. Leadership support was key. The management team set clear goals and provided the necessary resources to make change happen – but it was the enthusiasm and accountability shown by individuals across the business that brought those goals to life. From engaging in training sessions and adapting to new processes, to sharing ideas on how to make improvements, the response from our team has been nothing short of inspiring. They’re especially proud of the culture this process has helped foster – one where sustainability isn’t just a policy, it’s a mindset. Team members across Prototal UK are now more engaged than ever in thinking about how we can reduce our impact, improve efficiency, and innovate more responsibly. What’s Next? ISO 14001 is not a final destination – it’s a framework for ongoing improvement. Prototal UK will continue to review their environmental objectives, measure our impact, and look for new ways to do better. From material innovation to energy management, sustainability will remain a core focus in how their develop products and serve customers. To find out more click here.
