Dynisma to Power Pioneering New Virtex Simulation Facility at Spa with High-Fidelity Simulator

  • Dynisma and VIRTEX brings elite-grade simulation access to professional teams and drivers
  • Based trackside at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, VIRTEX’s facility features a state-of-the-art Dynisma Motion Generator (DMG) simulator, renowned for its ultra-low latency, high bandwidth, and real-world correlation
  • With in-house expertise in simulator operations and a focus on GT racing and beyond, VIRTEX caters directly to motorsport teams seeking to optimise performance off-track through digital development
  • Exclusive pre-launch access now open to select teams and partners at iconic European circuit

A new era in simulation begins trackside at one of motorsport’s most legendary venues – Spa-Francorchamps.

Dynisma, a world-leading provider of high-fidelity motion simulation technology, is working with VIRTEX, a new cutting-edge simulator facility launching at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, to deliver elite-grade simulation access to professional teams and drivers.

The installation of Dynisma’s Motion Generator (DMG) technology at the facility brings industry-renowned ultra-low latency, high bandwidth, and real-world correlation capabilities - trusted by leading teams across Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula E, WEC, IMSA, and global automotive OEMs.

To mark the first phase of this rollout, exclusive pre-launch access is now open by application only, offering a select number of race teams and engineering partners the opportunity to demo the simulator at Spa ahead of the public launch in June 2025. This invitation-only experience will provide in-depth insight into Dynisma’s motion platform, simulator capabilities, and the long-term ambition of VIRTEX as a European hub for elite driver development and engineering test programmes.

The installed DMG-1 simulator features a GT mock-up chassis, which can be interchanged with other vehicle types such as LMDh or single-seaters, offering flexibility across motorsport categories. Situated trackside, the facility will offer a unique blend of Driver-in-the-Loop training, vehicle development, and simulator demonstrations, using accurate track models of Spa and other circuits.

The DMG-1 is the first of four Dynisma systems planned for the facility, with three additional simulators scheduled for installation by the end of 2025, positioning VIRTEX as a true destination for high-end simulator access in European motorsport.

Julien Gillard, Founder & CEO of VIRTEX, commented: “Simulation has long been a critical tool for F1 and other factory programmes and our goal is to make this level of access more widely available to motorsport teams of all sizes.

“This marks the beginning of something exciting; accurate, high-fidelity simulation available right where performance matters most. The Spa location is symbolic, and we’re thrilled to open this invitation-only preview and begin showcasing what’s possible.”

Ash Warne, Founder & CTO of Dynisma, said: “Our DMG technology offers unparalleled motion fidelity and next to real-world correlation, that’s why we’re trusted by leading race teams and OEMs globally. To have a permanent Dynisma simulator installed at Spa is incredibly special. It means the most iconic corners in motorsport can now be felt with full accuracy just metres from the track. We’re excited to support VIRTEX and bring the next generation of simulation to life.”
