Growing Northamptonshire's Visitor Economy

National statistics show over 18 million visits to Northamptonshire spending close to £1billion a year which supports over 30,000 jobs across the county and 3,000 businesses, including a wide range of attractions, hotels, pubs and other venues that visitors enjoy. We want to grow this to support local businesses, to increase footfall & spend, and raise the profile of Northamptonshire as a destination to visit time and time again.

In partnership with West Northamptonshire Council, North Northamptonshire Council, Discover Northamptonshire, Northamptonshire Surprise, Destination Nene Valley, Love Corby and Northampton BID, we all want to work with the industry and local attractions to ensure that Northamptonshire's visitor economy is effectively supported to enable sustainable growth.

This event is for local business owners within the tourism industry to come together to explore collaboration opportunities, to hear updates on the newly adopted Northamptonshire Tourism Strategy, to hear from VisitEngland, to find out about funding and free business support and discuss what the future could look like. Including a presentation from Visit England, this event takes place during English Tourism Week and we want to capitalise on the many fantastic reasons to visit this area and develop plans to showcase these to the world and to grow them as much as possible.

Plus, stay for a buffet lunch & networking session to make new connections, discuss things further and hear from all of the partners involved with this event!
