CBI survey: The economic value of business travel and in-person meetings

14 December 2022

CBI Economics is conducting a survey in collaboration with the Business Travel Association (BTA), and we are interested in hearing from businesses to explore the economic value of business travel and in-person meetings.

The BTA will use the findings from the survey to form a compelling economic case to policy makers for changes to support the industry.

To take part in the survey, please click here.

Please complete the survey by COB on Wednesday 11 January.

For the purposes of this survey, business travel is defined as a journey specifically taken for work purposes, not including daily commutes, leisure trips or holidays. Examples include: internal meetings & events; attending a conference or event; visiting a construction site; negotiating with suppliers; meeting with clients or prospective clients or industry networking, training courses.

The survey should take you no longer than 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Please be assured that all survey data is managed in the strictest confidence and published only on an anonymised basis.

If you have questions, please get in touch on surveymanagementgroup@cbi.org.uk or 020 7395 8081. If you believe another colleague is better placed to complete this survey do forward this email or let us know an alternative contact.
