Business Secretary visits Stellantis' Vauxhall Ellesmere Port site as they announce plans for £110m

BEIS have announced the following.

Kwasi Kwarteng visited the Vauxhall Ellesmere Port site of multinational automotive company Stellantis on 6 July, as they announced their decision to to manufacture battery electric vans at the site through a new £110m investment into the plant. 

Speaking alongside key Stellantis executives, the Business Secretary remarked on how the investment represented a strong vote of confidence in the country's auto manufacturing sector, as well as a key development to put the UK at the forefront of the development and manufacturing of zero emissions vehicles.
