Business Secretary visits Stellantis' Vauxhall Ellesmere Port site as they announce plans for £110m

				BEIS have announced the following. Kwasi Kwarteng visited the Vauxhall Ellesmere Port site of multinational automotive company Stellantis on 6 July, as they announced their decision to to manufacture battery electric vans at the site through a new £110m investment into the plant.  Speaking alongside key Stellantis executives, the Business Secretary remarked on how the investment represented a strong vote of confidence in the country's auto manufacturing sector, as well as a key development to put the UK at the forefront of the development and manufacturing of zero emissions vehicles.  You can find out more about the government's plans to accelerate our path to net zero by reading the Ten Point Plan for a green industrial revolution.
