Everrati Cars invests in 3DEXPERIENCE Works

Desktop Engineering Ltd (DTE) is pleased to announce that electric vehicle brand, Everrati has selected 3DEXPERIENCE® Works as their development platform for the design and manufacture of their iconic electric vehicles. Creators of the world’s most iconic electric vehicles Everrati reconceives legendary vehicles to deliver a newly engineered 100% electric, zero emissions car.

Mike Kerr, Director of Engineering commented “We are developing an electric vehicle propulsion system that is both modular, and capable of being reconfigured and installed into our current and future range of iconic vehicle applications. Clearly, we needed a design solution that gave us flexibility, and the depth of functionality to cover all the detail design and assembly requirements of an EV. Further to this, we needed to have a collaboration and data management platform that would enable our team to have the flexibility to work remotely, and easily communicate with our supply chain, especially during these challenging times.”

3DEXPERIENCE® Works, developed by Dassault Systemes and supplied by DTE, is the latest development of the industry recognised 3D design software SOLIDWORKS. This next generation solution has the On-Cloud 3DEXPERIENCE platform as its data backbone. Data-management capability, collaboration tools and project management applications give users all the control to design and develop products in a fully functional PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solution.

Everrati delivers a bespoke, customer configurable, OEM-grade electric version of some of the world’s most iconic cars, including Mercedes-Benz SL ‘Pagoda’s’, Porsche 964’s and Land-Rover ‘Series’ to order.
