Zircotec Approved for NMCL Automotive Funding

After months of hard work, Zircotec are pleased to announce they been approved for NMCL Automotive Funding - available to only 100 manufactures from the UK Automotive Supply Chain.

Sales Director, Graeme Barette, started the process back in January 2019. Since then many hours and efforts have been put into building the Zircotec case, including an initial two-day assessment, presentations, financial due diligence and eventually getting the programme signed off by numerous members of the NMCL and government.

NMCL Automotive is a programme which is provided by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy. The programme utilises £16m of Government funding to support competitiveness in the automotive sector as part of the governments strategy commitment to the UK’s automotive supply chains.

Now that Zircotec has been approved for the funding, the two main aims of the programme are to raise workforce capability and increase productivity levels.

After a comprehensive competitiveness assessment and considering the views of Zircotecs key customers, the programme has identified priority areas for the company’s development. An improvement plan has now been drawn up and discussed and will be carried out by skilled improvement providers specialising in business improvement transformations.

The project is expected to last around 19 months, and will ensure that Zircotec reaches its optimum performance.
