Does your business face a labour and skills shortage? Government require your views on the new migration system

The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) has been commissioned by the Home Office to compile a Shortage Occupation List focussed on RQF levels 3 – 5 (medium skilled) and report in September. To inform that work, the MAC are asking for businesses and representative bodies to submit evidence about their experiences of labour and skills shortages. With the Home Office continuing to press ahead with the introduction of the new points-based-system for 1st January 2021, this is a key opportunity to shape the MACs thinking on an important element of the new immigration system. The MAC recognise that this is a challenging time for businesses.  Please take part in the consultation before the on 24th June 2020.
