Funding competition: Save the date
Driving the Electric Revolution’s third funding competition will launch on 15th June 2020, closing at noon 29th July 2020*. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Knowledge Transfer Network have listened to stakeholders and revised the format of the competition as a result.
The aim of this competition is to facilitate UK supply chain and manufacturing capability growth in power electronics, machines and drives to enable future improvements in productivity, capacity, quality or efficiency. Circular economy and recycling activities are also in scope.
They shall be looking to fund short, high impact, collaborative research and development projects that can demonstrate a clear return on investment. Projects can be up to 9 months in duration and up to £500,000 in total eligible costs. Total funding available for this competition will be up to £5million.
This is not for proof of concept or feasibility studies and we will not fund product development.
The competition will only be open for a short window, opening on 15th June 2020 and closing noon, 29th July 2020. The official brief will not be published online until the end of May.
