ATI and WMG event: Aerospace Electrification: Accelerating the Opportunity

MIA member WMG has prepared the following announcement: 

ATI & WMG are organising a joint event on “Aerospace Electrification: Accelerating the Opportunity” to take place at Warwick University on 18 March 2020 – the event is free but companies must apply to attend – and registration is only open for a limited time and already popular! There is considerable synergy between Motorsport and Aerospace in this arena, and this event seeks to encourage cross-sector technology transfer and innovation.   

This day-long event will consider the important issues facing Aerospace electrification, with a critical outcome to develop consortiums for ATI projects around the challenges and opportunities presented, as well as building a better understanding across the supply chain, and the latest technology possibilities.  With contributing presentations from Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Electroflight and Yasa, the event will have key note speeches, panel discussions, aerospace company showcases, challenge sessions (workshops on 3 themes: Machines & Drives, Energy Storage, Systems Integration) and plenty of networking – so a very comprehensive day.
