Revolutionary Pressure Scanner delivers True-Differential measurement

EvoScann® from Evolution Measurement, the company behind the revolutionary range of highly-miniature pressure scanners has launched its newest addition to the range.

The P8D, is one of the smallest and lightest pressure scanners available.Its eight-channels, measure true differential pressure when connected to the static line, giving greater accuracy and comparison to reference points, leading the improved measurement performance.

Maintaining the unique, compact dimensions for which EvoScann® is recognised, the P8D is set to improve the accuracy and resolution in aerodynamic testing of a wide range of items from wind turbine blades, to aircraft wings to Formula One cars. The lightweight carbon fibre external construction and integral microprocessor deliver high accuracy output directly in engineering units, producing data that can truly make a difference to the performance of the test subject.

Managing director, Paul Crowhurst said, "In consultation with many customers in the motor-sport world, we found the need for a true differential version of the P-Series. Some customers prefer to utilise a static line and P8D enables them to benefit from the small footprint, gathering valuable data from previously unreachable areas."
