Mercedes-AMG: 2019 F1 car to run for the first time on 13 February

Mercedes-AMG are delighted to announce that the 2019 Formula One car will hit the track for the first time on Wednesday 13 February for its initial shakedown run. The Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+ will contest the tenth season of the modern incarnation of the works Mercedes team.
A number of assets will be supplied on the day of the inaugural run, including background information, imagery of the car and a VNR.
To celebrate the tenth modern-day Mercedes F1 car, fans will be provided with insights about the new car and the upcoming season on social media channels in the days leading up to the shakedown day.
Mercedes-AMG ask for you understanding that the shakedown is a closed event and will not be accessible to media or public.
- Access online content throughout the countdown and the shakedown day via the team's Instagram, Facebook and Twitter channels.
- Regularly updated imagery will be made available to the media on 13 February via the team media site, media.mercedesamgf1.com. All content provided on the media site will be rights free for editorial use; a login is not required.
- 2019 press pack, including Q&As with the senior management, the car's technical specifications, biographies of key team personnel, partner information and more will be distributed via press release and made available on the team's media site.
