National Motorsport Week needs your help! Play your part and grow our sport.
National Motorsport Week will run from 7th-14th July 2019 and is a special celebration of UK motorsport jointly promoted by the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and Motorsport UK.
As well as including Britain’s highest profile race meeting, National Motorsport Week also features a wide range of initiatives and activities. These range from novice taster events run by local motor clubs to factory visits and open days at many of the UK’s premier motor sport-focused organisations.
A total of 8 out of 10 Formula One teams are based in the UK. 2018 saw another spectacular season for Brackle-based Mercedes who won their third consecutive constructors title.
Its aim is simple: to promote and inspire the excitement of motorsport to new audiences - to generate more interest, spectators, competitors, marshalls, officials and jobs.
National Motorsport Week has run each year since 2006, with the valued backing of the Motorsport UK's affiliated motor clubs. Its aim is to attract wider media coverage, which in turn introduces new fans, competitors, spectators, organisers, engineers, journalists, photographers and much needed marshals to the planet's most thrilling sport.
