The fast-growing US motorsport market, currently estimated to be worth in excess of $14 billion with 400,000+ participants, spans a wide range of motorsport disciplines – the two biggest being NASCAR and
Indycar.
Charlotte, North Carolina, is home to NASCAR, a member of the MIA, and the most valuable US motorsport series. In recent years, as a result of previous MIA and UK Government
joint activities, UK suppliers have grown their share of this business, several having now established operations in the region.
Building closer, profitable two-way relationships between Motorsport Valley
UK and the business communities of Charlotte and Mooresville has always been one of our primary targets at the MIA.
For 2025 we are once again planning to deliver a Business Development Visit to the Charlotte and Mooresville regions, North Carolina.
Draft outline of the 2025 programme*:
Monday 19th Delegates to arrive in Charlotte, North Carolina
Tuesday 20th - Thursday 22nd Scheduled visits to leading US motorsport teams and organisations will take place across these three days. Previous visits
have included Team Penske, General Motors - The Charlotte Technical Center, NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, Multimatic, Joe Gibbs Racing,
Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th Option to either travel back to the UK - or you can choose to stay for the race weekend in your free time.
