The British Racing & Sports Car Club was formed in 1946 and has been one of the most influential clubs & main driving forces in domestic motor racing ever since.
Today, with over 50 race meetings and 25 championships under the BRSCC umbrella annually, the Club continues to play a leading role in the British motor racing scene, organising both club race meetings and FIA sanctioned international events.
The Club Head Office is in Borough Green, Kent, just a short drive from Brands Hatch. With support from our six regional Centres the Club runs race meetings at circuits across the UK and is well equipped to serve members wherever they live in the country.
Bruntingthorpe has an extensive proving ground centred around a 4 mile track, incorporating an impressive 2 mile long, 60m wide straight.
Ideal for vehicle test, development and evaluation including such tests as high speed tests, vehicle handling, suspension development, engine mapping and brake evaluation. This track is supplemented by a challenging 4x4 track. Many customers have decided to base themselves on site, or in our adjacent Technology Park.
The company also offers corporate hospitality using our extensive facilities and a range of vehicles and karts via our Big Thunder Events company. Facilities include a recently refurbished 30,000 sq ft events centre which is ideal for either stand alone events or ride and drive events.
Owned by the British Racing Drivers Club and home of the British Grand Prix, Silverstone is the premier motor racing venue in the UK. In addition to hosting the UK's only rounds of World Endurance Championship , Silverstone is proud to host all the major National championships, during the year, including MotoGP, BTCC, F3/GT and British Super Bikes. For historic fans the Silverstone Classic has become the UK's major attraction and is supported by a host of HSCC, AMOC and VSCC events amongst others. In addition to motor racing the circuit operates a broad range of participation events including educational programmes, corporate and retail driving days, and conferences and exhibitions in the iconic Wing.
