Launch of the fifth round of the Regional Growth Fund

10 Oct 2013

The Regional Growth Fund (RGF) is a £3.2 billion fund designed to help companies in England grow. To date £2.6 billion of funding has been distributed to a variety of companies, projects and programmes who have committed to delivering 550,000 jobs and £14.7 billion of private investment.

RGF round 5 will open on Friday 11 October and close on Monday 9 December.

Funds will be available to bidders from the private sector seeking £1 million or more for high quality projects or programmes that leverage private sector investment and create sustainable jobs.

We encourage MIA members to attend this event marking the launch of round 5, which will include a presentation on how to make a successful bid, an opportunity to pose questions to speakers and a networking lunch.

Further information regarding the Regional Growth Fund and specifically round 5 can be found on the following websites and resources:

It is highly recommended that prospective applicants complete this form and attend an Expression of Interest meeting with an economist from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills to discuss their application as this will provide significant support in submitting a successful bid.
