Invitation to Intellectual Property seminar - Wednesday 2 May 2012

During this half day event, speakers will be covering some of the key trends caused by emerging IP case law.

Nick Briggs, partner and head of the Shakespeares IP, IT and projects team, will review the law on sufficiency of patents.
Mauro Paiano, partner at Shakespeares, will be looking at some of the interesting decisions from the Patents County Court over the last 12 months.
Douglas Campbell, barrister at leading IP set 3 New Square, will review the role of the expert witness in patent litigation, particularly in the light of some recent guidance from the courts.
David Hillan, tax partner at Grant Thornton, will review the important tax provisions and allowances relating to IP, including in particular the 'patent box' proposals and R&D tax relief.
There is no charge for this event and you will gain three hours of CPD.
